Train of thought: Grey’s Anatomy

Got to spill out about this. Just got to. Ok, so I’ve been following Grey’s Anatomy online and I just finished watching the latest season. OMG!!!!!!!!! The last few episodes are freaking SAAAAADDDD!!!!!!! Seriously. Third to last episode I cried. Omg. I never did anything like that before but I freaking cried. First when those patients died and the girl was reciting her graduation speech to Alex. Then again when Alex and Izzy got married and Alex declared that he’s given up his happy-go-lucky ways and becomes accountable to someone else other than himself now. Awwwww… Second last episode wasn’t much. It was just a build up to the finale. Oh my god, the finale! Izzy DIED!!!!! and maybe George too!!! WHY!!!! I’m really upset that they killed George. Like Callie said, he’s just a sweet guy who’d never hurt a fly and he’s gone off to enlist in the army as a doctor. That would have been ok you know. Sending him off to Iraq. But killing him even before he left??!!! That’s too much! And killing him in such a cruel way. Ok, he was kind of a hero but he didn’t need to hero himself to death! And poor Alex. First he had to deal with Izzy’s cancer, then they get married but it’s still not happily ever after and he might have lost her again, just when he thought they’d be ok. Back to George… It’s sad! He was pretty badly smashed up (hit by a bus and dragged when he tried to save someone else from getting hit) and they didn’t even know it was him until he managed to spell out his 007 nickname to Meredith. I was all, shit! That’s George??!!! Noooooo!!!! It was so totally unexpected. I was actually waiting for the Intervention that Bailey and Callie planned to try to stop him from enlisting. Thought that would have been really funny to watch. Bailey was really emotional this episode too. Very different change from when we first saw her. She’s so much more compassionate now. It’s nice that she still has her “I-am-Doctor-Bailey-and-I-know-all” moments though. (It probably says a lot that I haven’t talked about Meredith and Derek getting married. They’re supposed to be the ‘main characters’ but their story is so boring imo.) I hope George doesn’t die. Nor Izzy. They’re both nice people and the show needs nice people that are there for their friends and try to help their friends just because they are nice. Seriously. I thought one of the best moments was when Izzy tried to reinspire the interns despite everyone thinking she’s crazy. And they had to give her cancer and kill her off?! George. I liked him since the first season cos he’s so sweet and caring and he’s there for his friends despite all his friends treating him like a doormat and making fun of him and all. But they had to torture him too with his failed marriage and disastrous attempt to seduce Meredith. Then he gets relagated to being a minor character. *pout* I really hope the characters don’t leave the show altogether but there were rumours about it. Sigh. I’ll have to wait heck of a long time before the next season (if there is one). Don’t think I could stand the anticipation! I’m now reading the discussion about it over on Facebook’s Grey’s Anatomy page and agreeing with all the comments. George really needs to stay! His character hasn’t had an ending. It’ll be too cruel to just kill him!

Been watching the “Anne of Green Gables” movies since Sumi intro-ed it to me the other day. Gilbert and Anne… nice couple. But the third movie sucked in that way. It was all war time and dramatic escapes and all. Boring. But I was seriously cheering them on. I’ve been doing that lately. Weird. Lucky I’m watching at home by myself else people would think I’m nuts. Like when Gilbert and Anne found each other in Germany, I literally went: Yay!!! Oh goodness. I have no life. Buahaha!

I got shortlisted for an interview through NUS JobsConnect. Really nervous and still can’t believe it’s happening and kinda scared too. I’m just a chicken I guess.
