Where’d the time go?

You know, looking back over this and last year’s run-up to the Christmas season, I’m wondering how come it seems that there’s less and less time. Like in the past, how come we managed to get the carolling prep and the midnight mass prep all done just nice, even with time for some reflection and relaxation sessions, but lately, it all seems such a mad rush?

New found respect for the choir leaders of old – Lynette and Sylvia.

One week to Christmas

ETA:
I just watched “Mirrormask” on youtube. And I’ve just got one word for it. Strange.

It’s like a twisted version of Labyrinth meets the Matrix meet Alice in Wonderland. There’s a plot in only the loosest sense of the word, magnificent visual effects and a huge headache waiting to happen. With Neil Gaiman and Dave Mckean at the helm, how else could it be but a strange surrealist ’schizophrenic’ dream meandering through a dreary monochronic landscape?

Of course, some comments on imdb said that it gets better with repeated viewings. Maybe.

If you’re looking for an easy fantasy film, this is not it. 2 out of 5 stars.

I need a life. Thing is, I’m not sure I really want one.
